I love summer. I just don't like the first week of July. This is when I start getting the half hearted birthday wishes.

Thanks for that, I think? Birthdays to me are a LOT like New Years. It is a little thing my friends hear me refer to as "Forced Fun" Because it is my birthday/new years so I MUST go out and have all these plans and I must have fun. And as everyone knows plans never work out the way you want them to and then it turns into more of a stressful/disappointing day.

For example.

The Plan: Go to the bar and have a wild and crazy night of bar hoping. These plans of course not made by me but by the token bar-girl of the group. I much rather go to the museum and have a nice dinner, maybe step it up a bit.

Who is going: everyone who knows your birthday is on the horizon. Co-workers and friends. Then as the day draws nearer and nearer people keep jumping ship. "oh, I'm sorry I cant go. I have my nephews birthday party." Then when the day comes your left with the token bar-girl (then you come to realize you have never hung out with her in a small setting, or even seen her in the beginning of the night. You always meet up with her after the first few rounds.) and a co-worker who brought a bunch of her friends. Now at this point it looks like a pity party.

What Actually Happens: You get all dressed up. You end up driving yourself to the bar. You have a beer in awkward silence with you new friends of a friend. The beer is warm and bitter for some reason. You grow extremely tired. All you want to do is go home and get into your pj's. The friends of a friend also want to leave and you tell convince your friend that it is fine to go with them and you tell her your tired anyways. You leave and grab some food from the drive through and go home and fall asleep early.

Today is the 1st. My birthday is on the 6th. I just have to make it through Friday and its over. OH AND I FORGOT THE WORST IS YET TO COME!!! This year is my 29th, but next year will be a milestone birthday! Crap. Maybe I can arrange to be on vacation during that time. I did always want to go on an Alaskan cruise.

I am so excited my sister and BFF's will be coming out here for the weekend!

Fri. - They get here we go out to eat.  I am thinking Tex Tubs.  Then we hit the town.  not sure what it is going to look like on State since people are going home for the weekend.  Oh thats one of the joys of living in a college town.

Sat.  Wake up early (kinda early at least)  Hit up the farmers Market.  Madison has such a HUGE and wonderful one.  My sister cant wait to go because she read about it in Chicago Magazine.  Then since it is going to rain I am thinking of going to the new Sundance Theater we have in town and seeing Waitress or something.  Then maybe go to a steakhouse if it rains but if not we have a cookout with all the wonderful stuff we get from the market.  Then I know of a coverband thats playing in town.

Sun - The best day yet!  We are driving an hour to Wisconsin Dells for Paul Bunyons campstyle lumberjack breakfast.  I havnt been there since I was a kid.  It is a total tourist spot but thats o.k.  Then hitting up the new mall out there.

 

Then they leave.  I hate that part.

 

 

 

Dear Apartment 7,

Even though I have never met you, I feel like I know you quite well.  How so...?  well I know you love to have the loudest sex anyone has ever had.  Actually I take that back it isnt just me who knows this, the WHOLE building knows and also my mother who lives in the next state knows.  Our bedrooms are not even next to each other yet one day while talking on the phone with mom in my bedroom she could even hear you.  I feel like I must wait till you make that last giant sigh that you make after you fake your orgasm (trust me your fooling no one) before I can go sit on my patio to enjoy my coffee.

I also know you enjoy your cigerette out on the patio because you hate having smoke in your apartment.  But maybe you should rethink this plan out a little better.  Just because your outside dosent mean that smoke goes away  No it comes right into my apartment.  I am not a smoker but I still get to have my chair reek of smoke.

I also know all about you and your baby-mama dramma.  You are standing 3 feet away from my door that is wide open.  As a matter of fact, you can see me sitting in my chair right inside the door.... do you just want to come on inside here and finish your phone conversation?  Might as well. 

Would you like a glass of warm milk?  Because I know you are having problems sleeping.  Maybe playing your music that loud with that much bass at that hour.  At fist I thought maybe it was just me just complaining about a minor problem, untill a couple of weeks ago when I had a out-of-town guest and you kept her up all night with the music.

Yeah so I was sucked in.  Sucked into that evil little world of myspace.  But I am back and I hope to stay a while.  I miss it here.  BUZZ feel more like home.  I felt like a little fish in a big sea when I was out there.

I am going to post some pictures when I get back from vacation (GONE FEB 3rd TILL 12th)

 

I hope to reconnect with all of you!  I am home.

So I get my first paycheck next week!  That means I can get my film developed.  Right now I have about 20 rolls in my purse.  I will drop them off tomorrow so that way i can pick them up once i get paid. 

 

That way I will have lots more to post comming up...

Yeah we got so much snow today!  Well it all started last night.  It was the end of my shift and I had this gut feeling that the phone was going to ring,  Sure as shit, it did.  It was the overnight lady, and she couldnt make it in due to the storm.  So being the nice lady I am, I stayed and worked the overnight too.  I didnt want someone to drive in it, if I was already there.

So on my way home i knew I would have to go over 2 big hills.  Hill one. .. I got enough power to make it.  Second hill... yeah not so good.  no one was able to make it over without 4 weel drive.  I gunned it over and over and over.  eventually made it.

Then I oull in the parking lot.  yup stuck again.  Thank goodness james wasnt far from home.. so he pushed me.

Then I had to go back to work today and because of all the snoew.  i am stuck in my spot.

 

gotta love midwest winters.

O.k I am sitting here munching down on my grilled cheese with a dash of cinimon before I have to jet off to work.  I know cinimon and grilled cheese sounds gross but trust me it is good.

UUUgghhh.  Why?

 

I feel so BLAH today.  I am almost on the edge of crabby.  Reason why?  Not really sure.  I guess it could be because I am sick.  I think I have a sinus infection.  It could be because *persons name left out* hurt my feelings.  It could be because it is hard to adjust to working again after a year (or maybe more) break.  It could be because I wanted to take a nap today in between my 2 shifts but couldnt because we had some weirdo at our house that wouldnt stop talking. Anyway you slice it, I am still BLAH.

Hello everyone... LONG time no see.  Since I still without a digi it takes me a while to get film developed.  I droped 6 rolls off today.  Unfortunatly I wont get them till tuesday and I will be in VEGAS!

 

So in about 2 weeks,  Iwill have lots for you to see.

I live far far far north of the city now.  Well even when I go back to see my friends and we want to head down to the city.. we HAVE to drive.  Damn you Metra Rail and your unconvient hours!

If a show at Double Door Starts at 11... how can I make it back to Union Station at 12:25?  that means if the show ends on time, (like that will ever happen!) I have to run out of there and not chit chat with people after the show.. grrr.

Thats the first thing you hear when you pull in.  Yup thats right it is a Drive-In!  How often do you see that?  Look up and see the two Giant Hot Dogs winking at you that sit on top of the building.

Take a look at the menu and get a Superdawg, maybe a Whoopskidawg, or even a Whoopercheesie.  Mmm, i am getting hungry just thinking about the atomic green relish on a Superdawg that sits on top of a bed a french fries, and not those whimpy one.  crinkle cut.  All packaged together in a little box.

So if you are ever near Milwaukee, Devon, and Nagle.  Stop by.

thats the number of people arrested on saturday night.  Madison I guess has crazy halloweens.  i heard on the news they had to shut down the halloween riot with tear gas.

some guy even fell off his apt building and died.
